Set up in an hour, with results in your first sprint
No installation and no training. You sign in with Microsoft, Google or your email address, and the welcome journey starts with three steps: your teams, your people and your rhythm. Every step ticks itself off as soon as it is really done.
Three steps to start
- 3 minYour teamsType the names of your teams, one per line. Start with one or two curious teams.
- 5 minYour peopleType their email addresses and choose their team and role. They get an invitation straight away. Rather use a spreadsheet? You can import one.
- 10 minYour rhythmConnect each team’s calendar, or enter sprints and ceremonies yourself. The standard Scrum rhythm goes in with one click.
Without a Scrum Master, two more come with them: who leads when, and a first event the team leads itself, with Coretime guiding it.
When you have time
Useful, never in the way. Do them in any order; Coretime works without them too.
- Public holidays and leave, so the sprint capacity counts them
- Your tools: Jira or Azure DevOps, Slack or Microsoft Teams. For Teams there is one download for your IT admin, with three steps
- Team agreements: the working agreements, the Definition of Done and the Definition of Ready
- Sign-in for everyone with Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace
- Privacy and choices: read what Coretime records, and share it with your works council
- Verifying your organisation, in the easiest way you have
Adding people and teams
- A team’s page has a Members panel. There an organisation administrator invites people by email address, or adds someone already in Coretime, with a role.
- A new team takes a few clicks: under My teams, in Settings or at the bottom of the team menu.
- If you are on more than one team, you pick the team in the menu. Every screen then shows only that team.
What you need
- A few curious teams. Start small: others follow when they see it works.
- Someone with access to the teams’ calendars. No calendar? Then you enter sprints and ceremonies yourself.
- Optional: Jira or Azure DevOps, Slack or Microsoft Teams.
- A conversation with your works council; Coretime gives you the information you need for it.
How your first sprint goes
Day 1
The teams rate their first ceremonies. Coretime sends the cards by itself, or you show a QR code at the end.
Halfway
The first picture: which ceremonies go well, and which need attention. When the coach spots a pattern, it proposes two things to try.
The retro
The board is ready with the sprint’s notes. Make a few actions with an owner, and you are on your way.
Start with a free sprint
Two weeks free, with your whole team. After that Coretime Light for € 25 per team per month, or Coretime Full at a tailored price.
