Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Light and Full?

Light has everything a team needs: Coretime leads the events and the coach helps the team improve. Full adds scaling across teams and management reporting: PI Planning, OKRs, dependencies, the leadership report and more.

Does Coretime really replace a Scrum Master?

In a smaller company, Coretime takes over the work that takes the most time: preparing and leading events, the retro, following up actions, watching impediments and coaching the team. What a tool cannot do, such as resolving a conflict, the coach says honestly: then it is time to bring in a person.

What counts as a team?

Every team that uses Coretime. Guilds and communities do not count, and neither do teams you archive.

What happens after the free sprint?

After that you pay € 25 per team per month for Coretime Light, excluding VAT. You can cancel every month; you keep access until the end of the period.

Can we move to Full later?

Yes. All your data stays, and the extra functions are added.

Can we pay by invoice?

Yes, with Coretime Full: one price for all your teams, your own contract and payment by invoice.

Do we need a Scrum Master?

No. Without one, the teams share the role and lead in turn, with Coretime guiding every step. If you do have one, they set Coretime up and lead the events, and the team can share the role when that suits.

Can I sign up with Gmail or another personal address?

Yes. You sign up with Microsoft, Google or your email address and a password, a personal address too. Colleagues join by invitation and accept it with their own account. An organisation without a connected company directory is verified with its first payment.

I am a freelance Scrum Master. Can I use Coretime with my clients?

Yes. You make a workspace of its own for each client, with one login for all of them, and pay per team. At the end of the assignment you hand the workspace over to the client.

Privacy as the starting point

A team is only honest when it feels safe. That is why Coretime is built so that nobody sees who gave which score, not even us.
